Our Sunday school runs from September to June after weekly morning services. We have classes for children ages 3 to 15. The 3 to 13 year olds Walk with Me series focuses on Christian living, teaching, and on the church and Gods kingdom. The program for the 14 and 15 year olds is called Heidelberg Catechism and Me. The Heidelberg Catechism is a rich resource for learning how the truths of the Christian faith apply to us.

                  • Youth Group

Our Vision is to develop a solid foundation for young men and women through Biblical knowledge and relational experience with their Lord; to be confident, joyful, willing and prepared to be obedient to God's Master Plan for their lives, in communal restoration, as future leaders in society.

Youth Group meets every Thursday from 7pm - 9pm.  It is a group that is closely knit, but extremely willing to make new friendships with open arms.  Our meetings each week usually consist of games, the study of God's Word, and Praise & Worship.  Routinely we break into small groups to discuss a little more thoroughly the evening's topic.  We are committed to knowing God, building relationships and service to others around us.  In knowing, our Lord, we learn to understand His purpose for us, and therefore seek to perfect our lives toward holiness in Him, by understanding His sacrifice for us.  In this understanding we are better equipped to engage and transform a hurting world around us.  We participate in several Rallies during the year and activities (e.g. beach bonfires, party, meal week).  We are also committed to local neighborhood projects, as well as one large SERVE project outside our community, to have a better global awareness in the assistance of our individual talents and resources.

This year we are currently studying who God is and how we must have an understanding of God - and ourselves - in order to understand what His purpose is for our lives.

                    • Young Adults

Young Adults this year is split into two groups: College & Career and Married Couples. College and Career meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday each month and has started studying about the importance of foundational truths in their lives. Are they Biblical and if so, how has that affected them in a practical application in their lives. They consist mostly of University students and those in the workplace. They also get involved in many of the service projects that the youth group are involved in. The Young Adults anticipate at least 4 joint activities throughout the year. Our biggest challenge is understanding how God wants us to be content in the circumstances that He has placed us in.

                      • Coffee Break

Our Coffee Break group is open to all women from the surrounding community and the church. We encourage you to drop in for some good food and fellowship every Tuesday from September to May (check the calendar for specific dates). During this time we study the Bible and encourage one another to grow in our relationship with God. We begin with a social time at 9 a.m., this is when the goodies come out, and then separate into smaller groups with a prayer and study time from 9:30 to 10:30. Child care is provided during each Coffee Break Meeting, thanks to our generous and dedicated volunteers. Story Hour is available for 3 to 5 year olds. This time offers a Bible story, a craft, and a snack. Little Lambs is designed for 2 year olds and a nursery is available for the younger children. If you have additional questions or would like more information about our group, please call Xandra van der Geer 902-621-0668.

                          • Prayer Chain

Our email prayer line consists of a group of almost 60 families that is ready to pray for people's needs. It is a quick and easy way to have a large group of people praying for you, without judgment or prejudice. The prayer line coordinator forwards people's prayer requests, updates or thanksgiving items in an email to the prayer line group at once. If you would like for us to pray for a concern you have, contact Judith MacDonald at (902) 675-3556 or through email.

                                    • French Language Ministry

If there are enough participants, we will provide a French language class during the summer at Vacation Bible School for those whose first language is French. The children stay in the same room for the craft, story and songs, but join the larger group for the English songs.
